Guest artists scheduled to perform on Sunday include the Hip-Hop band Stetsasonic, Pretty Poison and the area’s own Gina Thompson. There will also be a host of surprise artists. The concert stage and DJ area will be set up near the front of the former mall. Schwartz said the event would not be possible without the help of an amazing list of sponsors including the Mechanical Licensing Collective, The Simpson Restaurant which will open in the ACX1 Studios property later this summer and a host of others.
“You can hear it from the Boardwalk, and you can see it from the Boardwalk,” Schwartz said of Sunday's music launch event. “There were 750,000 people in Atlantic City last year. We wanted to capitalize on that.”
