Heart of Surfing is a non-profit organization that offers free surfing and skateboarding lessons for families with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Heart of Surfing is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 2014 by Cindy & Bob Fertsch, inspired by their own son Jamie, who loved riding the waves.

Heart of Surfing is a grassroots, local organization – made up of  incredible volunteers that believe that everyone has the ability to participate and have fun.

Heart Of Surfing's mission is to create positive experiences for individuals with autism and/or other developmental disabilities through recreational activities. We offer surfing, skateboarding/scootering, roller skating, ice skating and more!

4. Rock Out To 3 Days Of Live Indie Music on 2 stages!
The Elephant For Autism Indie Music Awards is bringing more than 50 live bands and musical artists to 2 stages (indoor and outdoor) to The Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. The 3 day event also will include vendors. Lastly come to see who will be winning this year's awards.

3. Jerry Ryan!

The man that brings the whole thing together has been supporting live music for more than 15 years. Ryan has also been bringing awareness to autism for more than 15 years. Ryan's events use music and brings music to children and adults with autism and their families. Ryan has helped people with autism enjoy music through concerts like this weekend's event and also supplies people with autism with musical instruments and lessons.

There are very few major events you can attend in Atlantic City where parking is free.

1. The Great Food at The Tennessee Beer Hall

Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall is a place where friends and family can gather in the heart of Atlantic City just steps from the world-famous Boardwalk and beach. You’ll find 40 craft beers on draft and more than 60 in bottles and cans. All beers are hand selected by South Jersey food critic and radio personality Scott Cronick. The establishment features seasonal cocktails that are modern and approachable. The menu is a modern American twist on juicy hamburgers and hot dogs with gourmet & upscale dishes that will blow your mind from local Chef Charles Soreth.
