Heart of Surfing is a non-profit organization that offers free surfing and skateboarding lessons for families with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Heart of Surfing is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, founded in 2014 by Cindy & Bob Fertsch, inspired by their own son Jamie, who loved riding the waves.

Heart of Surfing is a grassroots, local organization – made up of  incredible volunteers that believe that everyone has the ability to participate and have fun.

4. Rock Out To 3 Days Of Live Indie Music on 2 stages!
The Elephant For Autism Indie Music Awards is bringing more than 50 live bands and musical artists to 2 stages (indoor and outdoor) to The Tennessee Avenue Beer Hall. The 3 day event also will include vendors. Lastly come to see who will be winning this year's awards.

3. Jerry Ryan!

The man that brings the whole thing together has been supporting live music for more than 15 years. Ryan has also been bringing awareness to autism for more than 15 years. Ryan's events use music and brings music to children and adults with autism and their families. Ryan has helped people with autism enjoy music through concerts like this weekend's event and also supplies people with autism with musical instruments and lessons.
