New York Comic Con Will Take Thousands of Fans Into The Heart Of Comics, Science Fiction and Pop Culture

NEW YORK - The New York Comic Con takes over New York City's Jacob Javits Convention Center each year with a growing and exciting comic con.
The once Saturday and Sunday Convention that was held in February, has now moved to a much warmer October event. The New York Comic Con has also expanded into a 4-day event , which starts this year on Thursday, October 17, 2024 and will end on Sunday October 20, 2024.
During the four days fans/ticket holders will get the opportunity to meet some of their favorite cartoon and comic book creators. Most of the major entertainment companies will have massive displays and promotional material to get the word out about upcoming projects. You could meet an actor from a TV show or film at a table, or attend one of the many panel events that include advance screenings of films and TV shows.
There will (of course) be hundreds of fans in cos-play. Cos-play is where a person dresses as a character from comics, film, tv or cartoons. Others will be on the hunt for rare and hard to find comics. The only downside is that tickets can be hard to come by as many times the con sells out.
If you can obtain tickets, attending New York Comic Con will make you a sci-fi/pop culture insider for a day. If you decide to take your family. They will forever label you as a "super hero."
