Dr. Joe Bertolino, New Stockton University President, Hosted the Regional Arts & Culture Summit to Kick Off His Inauguration!

On Monday April, 8, 2024, Stockton University's brand-new president, Dr. Joe Bertolino, kicked off a week of inauguration celebrations with the Regional Arts & Culture Summit! Dr. Bertolino called for the invitation-only, daylong summit of who's who in the New Jersey Arts Community, which was held in the Fannie Lou Hammer Room at Stockton's Atlantic City Campus.

The day started with students from the music program playing a wide variety of upbeat music as guests entered. Following the student band was a performance by students from Stockton's Dance Program.

Dr. Ian Marshal, the Dean of Stockton's Arts and Humanities introduced President Bertolino, who addressed the crowd and discussed his vision for the university. He was followed by the keynote speaker, John Schreiber, president and CEO of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

The day concluded with lunch, panel discussions and a Jitney tour of Atlantic City's murals.
