New Jersey League of Municipalities to Convene in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY — The New Jersey League of Municipalities is set to host its 109th Annual Conference here from November 19 - 21, 2024, at the Atlantic City Convention Center. This event, recognized as the largest municipal gathering in the nation, offers local government officials and professionals a platform for education, networking, and a chance to see the latest innovations in municipal governance.

The conference agenda includes various sessions that address current challenges and developments in local government. Topics range from climate change-related hazard vulnerability assessments to affordable housing updates and discussions on accessory dwelling units. These sessions aim to equip municipal officials with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance their communities. 

In addition to educational sessions, the conference features an extensive exhibit hall where attendees can engage with vendors showcasing products and services tailored to municipal needs. Exhibit hall hours are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday. 

The New Jersey League of Municipalities, established in 1915, serves as a resource and advocate for the state's 564 municipalities. The annual conference is a cornerstone of the League's efforts to foster collaboration and innovation among local governments.
