NAACP Hosts Candidates Night

ATLANTIC CITY—The Atlantic City Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People recently hosted a Meet the Candidates night at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School Complex.

Candidates running for election to City Council from each of the six wards were invited to attend the event on Tuesday Oct. 17.

First ward Councilman Aaron “Sporty” Randolf; third ward candidate Kaleem Shabazz; fourth ward candidates Ron Bailey and George “Animal” Crouch; and sixth ward candidate Geoff Dorsey all attended.

Other candidates were not present. The election will be held on Tuesday Nov. 7.
