Hip Hop Legends The Force MD's Honor Atlantic City Music Insiders Before Their Concert At Wilson's

HI-NELLA - On December 15, 2024, Hip-Hop/R&B group Force MD's performed live in concert at Wilson's Restaurant.

Approximately a half hour before their show, The Force MD's presented their "Tender Love" Awards to three people from Atlantic City that make the music industry move here at the shore.

First was long time vocalist and native Angela Burton.

Next to be honored was Rob Schwartz of WHO MAG TV and one of the minds that operates the AC1X Studios at the pier.

ACX1 Studios Welcome Movie, Music Industries to Former Boardwalk Mall
ACX1 Studios Chief Operating Officer Dom Franklin said the unique concept includes a mix of retail, restaurants, entertainment, and educational space and welcomes the music and film industries to the resort.

Lastly, a "Tender Love" award was given to Vannessa Jordan the mind behind The National R&B Society and The Atlantic City Music Walk Of Fame.

After the award presentations The Force MD's put on a great show for fans.
The group members are pioneers in the world of music as they were one of the first to merge Hip Hop lyrics with R&B vocals. Blurred lines between hip hop and R&B seem common today with artists like Drake but when Force MD's came out, it separated them - in a good way - from their competition. Force MD's rapped as well as many MC's of the day and also could sing on key with many of their 1980's contemporaries. They charted on the Hip-Hop charts with songs like Itching For A Scratch and would also chart on R&B charts with hits like Tender Love.

The Force MD's in Concert had ladies swooning, couples hugging and later had everyone in Wilson's dancing.

Please enjoy this photo album of pictures from the evening.
