"Holidays with Heroes" Celebrates Egg Harbor Township P.A.L Members and Families

Egg Harbor Township - The Police Athletic League of EHT is now The Police Activities League. Historically P.A.L has focused on athletics such as boxing and basketball. Today, members can still engage in a host of sports but also learn about Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and a number of other educationally exciting activities.

On December 7, 2024, P.A.L teamed up with police departments from EHT and Pleasantville as well as members of local fire departments and military to help families have a merry Christmas.

The program formally known as "Shop With A Cop" is now "Holidays With Heroes." The program allows the community to interact with local law enforcement at a breakfast, then they engage in a few games before going shopping at the local Wal-mart.

The Atlantic County Sheriff, Joe O'Donahue, Linwood's Police Chief, Steven Cunningham and Senator Vincent Polistina also were on hand for Holidays with Heroes and shared these thoughts.
