Mayor Marty Small, Sr., who had pledged during his State of the City address to make this year’s parade historic, led the procession alongside the City’s administration, department directors, and representatives from various municipal offices. “We promised to make history, and today, Atlantic City showed up to deliver," said Mayor Small. "This was a spectacle of joy and togetherness.”
The event featured elaborately decorated floats, festive vehicles, and performers, with appearances by Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, the Grinch, and other beloved holiday characters. Marching bands, dancers, and community organizations from across New Jersey joined in, filling the Boardwalk with music and merriment. Participants, including representatives from the Atlantic City Police Department, Fire Department, Beach Patrol, local casinos, and businesses, handed out gifts to delighted children and families along the route.
Following the parade, O’Donnell Memorial Park became the hub of holiday celebrations, offering treats, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. The parade was a highlight of the Atlantic City Tinseltown Holiday Experience, organized by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA), which continues to feature holiday events throughout the season.
