ATLANTIC CITY - From Wednesday, February 26, 2025 to Sunday, March 2, 2025, Atlantic City hosted the Discover Boating Atlantic City Boat Show at the Convention Center. The show featured several attractions to entice everyone, from boat enthusiasts to newcomers.

One of the first things that caught my eye was the exhibit set up by wholesaler MarineMax, featuring top-of-the-line yachts. People were lining up to experience brands such as Chaparral, Catalina Yachts, and Sea Ray.

To help maintain your yacht or boat, booth B64 of the boat show hosted Fred’s Shed: How To Center, which featured daily seminars focused on boating and boat maintenance. At booth H22, Yamaha introduced their new series of jet skis called the JetBlaster. Kids and adults alike were eager to check out the new jet skis.

Another highlight was the Anchors & Ales Beer Garden. As a foodie, I was thrilled to see such a wide selection of local drinks and food choices. You could grab a pint, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink from Anchors & Ales, or enjoy a cup of freshly squeezed lemonade from Camden Co. The Atlantic City Smokehouse participated in the boat show with their Beach Wagon, offering selections of BBQ. Their BBQ beef brisket and mac & cheese bowl are must-haves. The New Jersey food truck Wholly Bowls also had a station at the boat show, serving their signature burrito bowls. To satisfy your sweet tooth, there was a Mrs. Fields cookie and coffee booth. All these vendors and more were located within the boat show’s Anchors & Ales Beer Garden section of the convention.

The boat show didn’t just feature the newest boats and jet skis for purchase. You could also admire certified vintage and classic boats, courtesy of the members of the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, Inc. Members of this society have dedicated their time and effort to the maintenance and preservation of these classic boats for events like this one in Atlantic City.

The Atlantic City Boat Show was an event filled with information and fun. From boat racing to fishing, the event showcased boats and water events of many different varieties. The local eats were popular and filling for boat showgoers. The independent vendors offered an array of goods and services that piqued the interest of many boat enthusiasts. The Atlantic City Boat Show is truly an event you wouldn’t want to miss.
