Atlantic City Airshow Cancelled
Last year, the Atlantic City Airshow generated more than $70 million in revenue for the area which profited from the midweek experience.
ATLANTIC CITY—The Atlantic City Air Show has been cancelled, according to a joint statement from the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce in association with Visit Atlantic City and the South Jersey Transportation Authority.

“We regret to announce the cancellation of the 2024 Visit Atlantic City Airshow due to a major act withdrawing from the Airshow. This decision was not made lightly, and we understand the disappointment it may cause. We extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who have supported this event over the past number of years,” the statement released on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, said.
The airshow , “A Salute to Those Who Serve,” was nearly cancelled earlier this year because of a funding issue. Mayor Marty Small Sr. got involved and the South Jersey Transportation Authority contributed $300,000 to help keep the show alive.
The annual event is always a boon for the region. Last year, the free event generated more than $70 million in revenue for area businesses that profited from the midweek experience that historically draws interest throughout the tri-state area and beyond.
