After Dark at Big Scott's 17th Annual All Black Affair

CHERRY HILL - When I heard that Big Scott's Annual All Black Affair was coming back to Cherry Hill, I got excited.

Years ago those Black Friday Affairs drew enough beautiful Black people to fill 3 rooms for dancing and another room for jazz. After moving the event to Atlantic City for several years the crowd's got smaller though The Black Affair in Atlantic City featured performers like Rakim, and Doug. E. Fresh.

This year on Friday, November 29, 2024, The All Black Affair returned. The people attending looked as beautiful as ever in black, though the numbers were much smaller. There were not enough people to fill either of the 2 dance floors and there was no headline entertainment.

The Big Scott All Black Affair may have been the first. However, it seems The All Black Everything event in Atlantic City with DJ Fah D and The Fade 2 Black event in Philadelphia have grown their own audiences and taken some from The Big Scott All Black Affairs.
