ATLANTIC CITY — ACX1 Studios Chief Operating Officer Dom Franklin and his team want to change the way people think about the resort.

The Legacy of Makhadzi's Mother

A new ownership group recently bought the former The Pier at Caesars/The Playground Mall to create a unique concept that includes a mix of retail, restaurants, entertainment, and educational space. The plan is to use the former mall for movie and television projects in addition to offering programming that benefits the community.

The long-range plans include developing a partnership with youth in South Africa.
