AC Native Proposes $500 Million Economic Initiative in Senegal
The discussions were well received, with Senegalese officials expressing a strong interest in structuring investments that align with the country's development goals.

DAKAR, SENEGAL – LaQuay LaunJuel, CEO of LaunJuel Holding Group (LHG) and a leading advocate for American African economic inclusion, is spearheading a major effort to strengthen business ties between American African entrepreneurs and Senegal.
During a pivotal meeting with Senegal’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Serigne Gueye Diop, LaunJuel, an Atlantic City-native, introduced a bold $510 million economic engagement proposal aimed at expanding trade and investment opportunities. The discussions were well received, with Senegalese officials expressing a strong interest in structuring investments that align with the country's development goals, LaunJuel said on Friday, March 7, 2025.

“Money is meant to be planted and the only way to cultivate it is through investment,” said LaunJuel. “We, American Africans, need to diversify our portfolio from only being American-based to being American and African based and we need options. Our best option is in Africa. We've been hopping on one leg. We need two legs."
Building on a Legacy of Economic Collaboration
This latest initiative builds on LaunJuel Holding Group’s growing influence in Africa. In October 2023, the company secured a landmark $5 billion agreement with the Kingdom of Bakholokoe in South Africa. That deal, known as the Kingdom Health & Wellness Industry Masterplan Treaty (KHWIMA), granted 6,000 hectares (15,000 acres or 23 square miles) of farmland for agricultural development—marking one of the first agreements of its kind between an American African enterprise and a sovereign African nation.
By expanding into Senegal, LHG is looking to replicate its success in South Africa and advance a diaspora-driven investment model that prioritizes direct African economic empowerment.
“It provides us with an opportunity to be self-reliant,” LaunJuel said. “But we don’t need to abandon America.”
Next Steps in Strengthening U.S.-Senegal Economic Ties
Looking ahead, LaunJuel is set to engage with key Senegalese officials, including Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Livestock Mabouba Diagne, Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko, and President Bassirou Diomaye Faye. The talks will focus on high-impact investment opportunities in sectors such as:
- Agricultural modernization and food sovereignty
- Trade and manufacturing partnerships
- Strategic infrastructure development
"This was a productive first step, and we appreciate the openness of Senegal’s leadership to explore opportunities for collaboration," said LaunJuel. "We look forward to continuing these conversations and identifying areas where we can add value."
As discussions progress, LaunJuel Holding Group remains committed to fostering self-sustaining industries, strengthening investment autonomy, and building long-term strategic alliances across Africa.
